Eligibility SSC CHSL
1. Nationality
- Must be a citizen of India
or - A subject of Nepal/Bhutan
or - A Tibetan refugee who came to India before January 1, 1962
or - A person of Indian origin migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, or East African countries with the intention of permanently settling in India
2. Age Limit (as on 01 August 2025)
- Minimum Age: 18 years
- Maximum Age: 27 years
- Candidates must be born between 02 August 1998 and 01 August 2007 (both dates inclusive)
Age Relaxation:
- SC/ST: 5 years
- OBC: 3 years
- PwBD (Unreserved): 10 years
- PwBD (OBC): 13 years
- PwBD (SC/ST): 15 years

3. Educational Qualification (as on 01 August 2025)
- Passed 12th Standard or equivalent examination from a recognized Board or University
For Data Entry Operator (DEO) in C&AG:
- Must have passed 12th Standard with Science stream and Mathematics as a subject
4. Number of Attempts
- No limit on the number of attempts
- Candidates can apply as long as they meet the age and educational criteria

- Visit the official SSC portal at SSC.gov.in
- Complete the OTR by clicking Register Now and providing required details (Aadhaar/PAN, contact, personal info).
- Registration deadline for OTR is June 30, 2025 .
- Login & Access Application
- Use your generated Registration ID and password to log in.
- Find and click the SSC CHSL 2025 application link.
- Fill in Application Form
- Enter personal, educational, and category information.
- Select up to 3 exam center preferences.
- Upload scanned photograph and signature in specified format.
- Payment of Application Fee
- Pay ₹100 if you’re in General/OBC/EWS categories; fee is exempted for Women, SC/ST, PwBD, and Ex-Servicemen.
