The SBI PO Admit Card 2025 for the Prelims Exam has been released on 25 July 2025 . Candidates can download it by logging in with their registration number and password. The exam is scheduled for 2nd, 4th, and 5th August 2025.

Follow these steps to get your hall ticket:

  1. Visit sbi.co.in → Go to “Careers”“Current Openings” → Select “Recruitment of Probationary Officers” → Click “Call Letter for Prelims Exam”
  2. Enter login details:
  • Registration Number or Roll Number
  • Password or Date of Birth (DD-MM-YY)
  • CAPTCHA (if prompted)
  1. Pay attention to language selection (English/Hindi), then click Submit.
  2. Your admit card will appear—download and print a clear copy.
  3. Save a digital backup on your device as well

Your SBI PO Prelims Admit Card includes:

  • Candidate Details: Name, registration/roll number, category, gender
  • Exam Details: Date, shift, reporting time, gate closing time
  • Exam Venue: Centre name and full address
  • Personal Photo & Signature: As uploaded in the application
  • Instructions: Exam guidelines, prohibited items, etc.
  • Invigilator Space: For candidate’s left thumb impression and invigilator signature at the centre

Verify all details carefully and report discrepancies immediately to SBI.

Carry exactly the following to avoid any issues:

  • Printed Admit Card (original and one photocopy)
  • Valid Original Photo ID & Self-attested Copy (Aadhaar, PAN, Voter ID, Passport, etc.)
  • Two Passport-size Photographs (same as uploaded in application)
  • Admit Card Proof: Keep a stamped copy from Prelims for Main Exam submission

Missing any required documents may result in disqualification from the exam.

The Preliminary Examination is qualifying in nature, and marks are not added to the final merit list. However, clearing it is mandatory to advance to the Mains. The structure:

  • Negative Marking: –0.25 for each wrong answer

Candidates’ reporting and exam shift details will be provided on the admit card. A representative schedule:

  • Shift 1: Report by 8:00 AM, gate closes 8:30, exam 9:00–10:00
  • Shift 2: Report by 10:30, gate closes 11:00, exam 11:30–12:30
  • Shift 3: Report by 1:00 PM, gate closes 1:30, exam 2:00–3:00
  • Shift 4: Report by 3:30 PM, gate closes 4:00, exam 4:30–5:30
  • Biometric or handwriting sample may be collected per shift schedule

Candidates must arrive 30–60 minutes before reporting time. Late entry after gate closure is prohibited.

Candidates may face these issues when downloading the admit card:

  • Incorrect login credentials (Reg. No./DOB)
  • Accessing unofficial or expired links
  • Browser compatibility or cache issues
  • High server load during peak times
  • Incomplete application or mismatched details

Solutions:

  • Use official SBI website only.
  • Try logging in during off‑peak hours or incognito mode.
  • Clear browser cache or switch devices if needed.
  • In case of persistent issues, contact SBI helpdesk before 5 August.

a) Prelims Result:

  • Results are expected during August or September 2025.
  • Only qualifiers will receive invitations to appear in the Mains exam.

b) Main Exam:

  • Scheduled in September 2025; admit cards issued beforehand.
  • Includes Objective Tests, Descriptive Writing, and GK sections.

c) Phase III:

  • Includes Psychometric Test, Group Exercise, and Interview.
  • Conducted in October–November 2025; final results declared in November/December

Final selection will be based on performance across all stages.

  • Download early—preferably by 3 August—to avoid last-minute delays.
  • Verify all printed details: Name, photo, exam centre, shift timings, category.
  • Carry extra passport photographs and ID proving documents.
  • Dress comfortably (result may take several hours).
  • Arrive early and complete all required biometrics.
  • Avoid prohibited items—electronic devices, calculators, written materials etc.
  • Keep all admit card copies safe for later stages like Mains.
