The Assam Public Service Commission invites applications from Indian Citizens (as defined in Articles 5 to 8 of the Constitution of India) for the post of Forest Ranger in the Assam Forest Service under the Environment & Forests Department, Assam.
Appointments will be made under Rule 2(i) of “Rules for Appointment to the Class of Rangers” as outlined in the Assam Forest Manual (Volume-II). Selected candidates must undergo in-service training through a Certificate Course in Forestry at a recognized Forestry Training College/Institute, as per the revised Entrance and Training Rules, 2004 issued by the Ministry of Environment & Forests, Government of India.
