The Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA), under the Intelligence Bureau, released a short-notification announcing 3,717 Assistant Central Intelligence Officer Grade-II (Executive) vacancies in July 2025 The official detailed notification and advertisement followed shortly after (around 18–19 July 2025)

  • Online applications opened on 19 July 2025 and will remain active until 10 August 2025
  • For candidates preferring offline fee submission, the last date via SBI challan is 12 August 2025

http://Indian Navy SSC Officer Recruitment 2025 – 260 Posts,

  • The total of 3,717 vacancies is distributed as:
    • UR (Unreserved): 1537
    • EWS (Economically Weaker Section): 442
    • OBC-NCL: 946
    • SC: 566
    • ST: 226
  • Designated under General Central Service, Group ‘C’ (Non-Gazetted, Non-Ministerial).
  • Pay Level: Level 7 as per the 7th CPC, earning between ₹44,900 – ₹1,42,400 along with central government allowances (HRA, DA, TA, plus special security allowances, where applicable)

a) Nationality & Education

  • Applicants must be Indian nationals.
  • Essential qualification: Graduation or equivalent from a recognized university
  • Desirable: Basic computer knowledge is often emphasized in guidelines .

b) Age Limit & Relaxations (As on 10 August 2025)

  • Minimum age: 18 years; Maximum age: 27 years
  • Relaxations:
    • OBC: +3 years (up to 30 years)
    • SC/ST: +5 years (up to 32 years)
    • Departmental candidates (Central Govt. civilian employees with ≥3 years’ continuous service): up to 40 years
    • Widows/divorced women/judicially separated (non-remarried): UR up to 35; SC/ST up to 40
    • Ex-servicemen, meritorious sportspersons: relaxations as per Government of India norms
  • Applications must be submitted online via MHA’s official website (mha.gov.in) or the National Career Service (NCS) portal (ncs.gov.in)
  • Steps:
    1. Register with active email ID and mobile number.
    2. Fill in personal, educational and category details.
    3. Upload required documents (photograph, signature).
    4. Pay the application & processing fee.
    5. Submit and take a printout of completed form
  • Fees:
    • General/OBC/EWS males: ₹650 (₹550 fee + ₹100 processing)
    • SC/ST/female applicants: ₹550

a) Stages

The recruitment selection includes three stages:

  1. Tier I – Objective MCQ written test
  2. Tier II – Descriptive written test
  3. Tier III – Interview (Personality assessment)
    Final merit is based on performance across all three stages, followed by document verification, character & antecedent checks, and medical examination

b) Detailed Exam Pattern

  • Tier I (Objective Test):
    • 100 MCQs (1 mark each), covering:
      • Current Affairs
      • General Studies
      • Quantitative/Numerical Aptitude
      • Logical/Reasoning
      • English
    • Duration: ~1 hour
    • Negative marking: ¼ mark deducted per wrong answer
  • Tier II (Descriptive Test):
    • 50 marks total
    • Comprises essay writing, comprehension, and long-answer-type English questions
  • Interview (Tier III):
    • Typically around 100 marks
    • Assessment of personality, suitability, and skills relevant to intelligence work
